The Mercy Street Readings is a monthly live broadcast featuring poets worldwide. It started as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic and a desire to bring people and poetry together safely. The Mercy Street Readings was launched in 2021 with support from the City of Chicago Department of Cultural and Special Events. All public events are free.
